Don't know if many people know about this but the app "TALKATONE" allows you to make and receive free calls as well as texts using your google voice number. I also used groove IP but this app seems better. The best thing about it is that it allows you to send and receive picture messages as well. Definitely a good app if you are looking to save money on your carriers plan. Price? Free!!! It does have some premium features that aren't too expensive. Things like removal of ads and what not. Set up is simple as well.
