Syncing question

Being new to this I have a simple question: On calendar 1 I have events A, B, and C. On calendar 2 I have events C, D, & E. If I sync calendar 1 with calendar 2, will I have
a) Calendar 1 & 2 with events A, B, C, D, & E
b) Calendar 1 with A, B, C and Calendar 2 with A, B, C, D, & E
c) some other combination
