Switching roms

I am forever rooted and currently running eclipse 2.1. I am going to try some other roms or possibly ICS, I'm just not sure how to switch roms. Do I need to flash back to 893, then OTA update to 902 and install the new rom? Or is there an easier way?

As long as the ROM you want to use is made to work with 901\902 you should only have to wipe data & cache, then install the new ROM.

Awesome, thanks. Any idea of how to get back to stock? I was thinking flashing back to 893? Not that I am going to do that any time soon, I just want to know how if I ever do.

If its a totally different rom and not a updated version of your current you need to do a full wipe. /cache /data format /system and dalvik cache
