hey to all - just picked up a droid saturday (3/13) and thought i'd membership a droid forum (or 2 or 3?) to learn from the wise.

i've put off a smart phone for years watching the progress via my 3 son's various smart phone endeavors (ha). my old flip was ready to go - so i took the plunge.

i guess i have 30 days from verizon to decide if it's what i want - - - so far so good!

Welcome to the neighborhood, Al! Glad to have you here! You'll find this forum to be full of very friendly, helpful folks. We're all here to learn as much as we can and help those who are struggling with one issue or another along the way. I must warn you, however, that both the Droid and this forum are very addictive, as you'll soon learn... So come on in and make yourself at home!
