Surfing Craigslist on droid, cant send a text to a phone number hot link.

The title says it all. When you are looking through Craigslist and someone posts their phone number you select on it and the only option is to actually CALL that person. Does anybody know how to send them a text without making them a contact?

On mine, I long press on the number it gives options to dial, add, or copy. Then you can paste it into the text message window.
