superuser icon

I have a replacement phone coming and I wonder if it will matter if I send the phone in with the superuser in my drawer. I had root with 2.1 and lost it with the 2.2 update but the icon is still in the drawer. Anyone else sent in a phone like this?

They will frown on this...rooting voids a warranty and the SU icon is pure proof that root was aquired at one point

But if root was lost in the update will there be any trace of root besides the icon? Im not real. If not how could they blame any problems on the root icon.

The SU icon is Proof Positive...I wouldn't send it in like that

I dont think I will need to now anyway. I am having some 3g problems with some streaming music apps but it seems that everyone else with 2.2 is also (iheart lastfm). Ill just send the refurb back. Thanks for the insight tp76.
