Suggested text for "U2"

OK, so now I'm LMAO, but:

I got a text message from my girlfriend. I wanted to reply "You Too Baby" using the shortcut text "U2 Baby" from the virtual keyboard and I sent without looking at the screen. It sent "Susan Baby" and let's just say my girlfriend's name is not Susan. Thank God she has a sense of humor.

Seriously, open anything with the virtual keyboard where the app is going to give you suggested text (like text messaging), type "U2" (no space between the U and the 2), and then hit the spacebar. LMOA!

Don't know where the algorithm get's Susan from U2. Don't know if this is a bug, or a mischeivious programmer!

From the home screen, hit Menu and tap settings.
Tap Language and Keyboard.
Tap Android Keyboard.
Clear checkmark next to Auto-complete.

Now it won't automatically replace the word when you hit the spacebar.

Well, it's true that there was a special U2 edition iPod. But Bono's investment group, Elevation Partners, is a major investor in Palm. And, the most recent U2 tour is sponsored by Blackberry.

Go figure.
