Suddeny need Wi-Fi

Hey all,

I used to able to check my email --be it using k-9, the built in Gmail, or the OTHER built in E-mail client--without wi-fi, just on the 3G network. Now, for some reason, no matter what I use to check my email, I HAVE to be connected to wi-fi. Otherwise, it all goes to standstill. Any idea why this may be?

Cant get email unless using Wi-Fi- (WHY?)

I too cannot send/receive emails or texts unless connected to Wi-Fi (makes me think my AT&T service is not functioning). Did you fix your problem?

Background data was in fact "on", so I turned it off, then back on- still not able to send/receive email over the AT&T network-only when connected with Wi-Fi :icon_eek: Simply baffled- working fine one day, not the next.
