Stuck at droid animation when trying to restore bloatware

Any ideas? I copied the apks to my SDcard, then used Root Explorer to copy them to /system/app. When I tried to install (following guide here: How to reinstall system apps _as_ system apps. - Android Forums) the phone locked up and on a reboot, it repeats the droid boot animation over and over.

Suggestions?
