strange dot on screen.

Has anyone ever noticed a dot in the upper left portion of their notification bar? I've seen it from time to time but never paid too much attention to it. It just seems to randomly come and go. Here is a screen shot of it. Anyone?

I don't see the dot you're talking about. Perhaps it was gone when you pulled this shot?

Edit: I see it...wow is it dull and hard to spot (pardon the pun). I have NO idea. Have to search this one out.

It was gone by the time I finished typing out the thread though. Doesn't seem to effect the phone's performance, just strange.

Does it only come on when you have the keyboard open or in a app that requires typing? (like in the screenshot)

Edit: Hmm thinking about that, it doesn't make sense. Has to be some sort of app or system setting.

Seems the consensus is it's Google +, but for what purposes don't know.

Thanks for all the replies. Sorry for my delay, long night at work (recalled). It comes on at random times when different apps are in use or not. I have Google + disabled. I keep most apps disabled as I only usually have a few things running, email and weather. Stupid keeps it simple.

Ok, I guess I blew it. I said Google + but it's Google Now. Thanks for the clarification.

That is the Google Now indication. It will show up when there are notifications in the drawer that say things like "[X] (amount of time) to (your address) via (some road)." To alert you how long it'll take to get home from your work. Or other notifications.

AAAAHHHH! Thank you. Now I know that the phone isn't possessed.
