Stop notification tone when sending message

I was just wandering if there is a way to stop the notification tone after I send a message but keep it for when I receive one

I'm not familiar with the Wildfire so my experience may be different. I have a rooted Droid and when I send an email or text I do not hear any notification. Have you looked at the settings for the app and for the phone to see if there is anything for "sending"?

Go into the app settings. Go to notification settings. Got to notification settings for "sent" messages and turn the sound off.
