Stop home button from waking phone up?

Is there a setting to stop the Home button from waking the phone up and turning on the screen?

I dont think it does, but i love the fact that it wakes the phone up. Hate reaching for the power button.

it is convenient, but with my verizon swivel holster, everytime i put the phone in the holster or take it out, it mashes on the buttons and turns the phone on

would be nice to be able to configure it... maybe in froyo?
