Stock messaging app not showing pictures

My stock messenger all is no longer showing contact pictures, it used to but.for some reason now it is not. I have cleared cache and data in stock app and it still does not work. Any ideas?

I fixed this issue by disabling the sync on the "Facebook for HTC Sense" in the 'Account and Sync' area in Settings than deleted the account, next I went to the 'Manage Applications' and cleared the data off the Facebook for HTC Sense. After re-adding my FB account to the HTC's Facebook app it worked.
