Stock android autocomplete no longer works

I recently did a clean wipe/install of sapphire 1.1.1 last Thursday and noticed yesterday that when using the onscreen keyboard it no longer provides any options for autocomplete unless I start typing someones name from my address book. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? The only thing that comes to mind is reinstalling sapphire. I also have the extreme orange theme loaded but I didn't think that would do anything.

Noticed the same thing as well... same ROM & theme combo.
