Stable Nougat OTA Updates Coming To OnePlus 3 and 3T Later Today.

OnePlus had promised earlier this year that they would have a stable update of Nougat ready for the OnePlus 3 by the end of 2016. Well today is the last day of the year and we were beginning to wonder if that promise would be fulfilled. Carl Pei had tweeted early this morning that a beta build of Nougat would be released for the OP3 and OP3T. He later clarified that we can expect an OTA update bringing both devices their first stable build of Nougat. The beta build will go out first followed by a gradual rollout of the stable build. This is highly unusual, but it looks like Carl Pei co-founder of OnePlus is eager to make good on his promise.
