I've noticed that after about 7 months with the phone, the silver edging can easily be pushed in while holding the phone which causes a rather annoying squeak. Just curious if this was a luck-of-the-draw phone, or if it's common among other fascinaters.

I never noticed it but since u mentioned it mine makes the noise too. I usually have a silicone protecter on it and that makes quiet for sure.

It'the soft plastic back plate. I hate to say it, but Apple really nailed it with the aluminum back plate - it's best feature, lol.

Yeah, i've found that it's both the plate and silver edging. I definitely like the aluminum frame apple designed ;)
