Now that AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile have all shared their perspective on the new Moto X, it looks like it's Sprint's turn. The Now Network shared their full press release on the Moto X yesterday too. It doesn't really clarify much. The Sprint version shares the same $199.99 on contract pricing as the other carriers, but Sprint didn't reveal when it will launch on their network, other than a vague "this summer." There is one excellent bit of news. It will be one of the first new phones to include their new Unlimited Lifetime Guarantee. Here's the full presser,

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), August 01, 2013 - Today, Motorola Mobility introduced Moto X™, the first smartphone designed, engineered and assembled in the USA. Sprint (NYSE: S) plans to offer the Moto X smartphone later this summer. Powered by Android™ 4.2.2, Jellybean, Moto X will provide customers the Sprint Unlimited Guarantee – unlimited talk, text and data while on the Sprint network guaranteed for the life of the line of service.

Moto X will be available for $199.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement in all Sprint retail channels, including Web (Sprint) and Telesales (1-800-SPRINT1). Exact availability will be shared closer to launch. Customers can get more information and preregister for Moto X from Sprint at www.sprint.com/motox.

The Sprint Unlimited Guarantee promises customers unlimited talk (calls to any wireline or mobile phone), text and data while on the Sprint network, for the life of the line of service. This guarantee is available to new and existing customers who sign up for Sprint’s new Unlimited, My WaySM or My All-inSM plans.

“Sprint is excited to bring the benefit of a lifetime unlimited guarantee to the new Moto X,” said Fared Adib, Sprint senior vice president-Product Development. “Moto X is an exciting product that is highly anticipated by the market and will be a great option for customers looking to switch to Sprint and gain the value of the new device and also our unlimited lifetime guarantee.”

The new Unlimited, My Way and My All-in rate plans feature unlimited talk, text and data while on the Sprint network for as little as $80 per month (excluding taxes and fees). The Unlimited, My Way plan can offer customers a significant savings when compared to competitors’ capped data plans. For example, smartphone customers can save $20 per month vs. Verizon’s comparable plan with only 2GB of data.1

Moto X is the first smartphone that responds to customers’ needs, delivering the best of Google services, while providing unprecedented personalization such as:

Touchless Control – Without touching the phone at all, users can check the weather, get directions, or do just about anything – just by saying “OK Google Now.” Because it learns their voice and with the power of Google Now, Moto X doesn’t guess like other phones do. It knows.
Active Display – Moto X is always paying attention. Information quietly appears on the screen to tell customers what they need to know.
Quick Capture – Just by two twists of the wrist, Moto X is ready to shoot. Touch anywhere on the screen, and you’ll get an amazing shot. All in just a few seconds.

I'm trying to figure out why Sprint still offers the simply everything price plan which is $20 more than the new my way price plan and yet offers the exact same thing; unlimited everything.
