SPRecovery and The New Update

Hi there. I rooted my droid not too long ago and want to upgrade to the new version that I keep getting notifications for. I am currently running android version 2.2 but when I got to install the new update SPRecovery wont let me update. It goes into the recovery screen and says allow update.zip but once I click it nothing happens. Please let me know if I can do anything to fix this. Thanks.

You can manually download and install the update, but you'll lose root and need to put SPRecovery back on.

Does anyone have a link for the new update where I can download it? I can't seem to find one.....
