Spotify previously only offered free music streaming services to Windows PC and Mac OS customers, but that changed today. Spotify officially announced free music streaming to mobile users as well. Previously, if you were a mobile users you had to pay a $10 premium to get music streaming on your iPhone or Android device. Spotify CEO Daniel Ek said during the announcement that “Mobile users listen to music on shuffle. In order for Spotify to really go mobile, we made this new product free.”
