Speed Dialing, etc

Hi - I've just joined the forum and have had my Droid for about 3 weeks. So far so good! Does anyone know of apps or a way to get to the phone fuction easier and/or to have access to some sort of speed dialing? It's the only drawback that I have found now that I use Touchdown.

You can add one-touch dial icons to your home screen.

long press home screen>shortcuts>direct dial

You are able to set a contact as a "favorite" by touching the star beside their name. This will place them into the Favorites tab in the Phone app.

Or do as MNTNBKR suggested.

I'm using the direct dial and direct message options. It's been working out great.
