Has anyone use the speed app on there phone?? If so can you please tell me what you think about it and how does it work before I down load it.

Do you mean speed check? If so, I've used it. Works great.

I'm not sure. it's the one that check's your MPH with the GPS. Is that the some one that you are talking about??

I've used a couple of these and I like them. They are fun. The free one called Speedometer is neat because it maps out your route which you can save. You can retrace it when you are done and it will tell you your speed along the route. You can also graph your speed and altitude from the whole trip. It's a little laggy--I think it reads every two seconds or so--but you can' t expect it to be as good as your car's speedometer. I recommend trying it; it's free so you have nothing to lose but a few minutes of your time. You also need to be in an are with a good GPS signal I would guess.

lol, that's not speed check. I thought you were talking about measuring internet speed.

I do remember seeing a thread about that app. I don't remember what it was because I use that thing called a speedometer on my car.

Car speedometers are notoriously inaccurate. An app like this is useful to see just how 'off' your own may be.

I think GPS STATUS has a speedometer on it.
