I've used a couple of these and I like them. They are fun. The free one called Speedometer is neat because it maps out your route which you can save. You can retrace it when you are done and it will tell you your speed along the route. You can also graph your speed and altitude from the whole trip. It's a little laggy--I think it reads every two seconds or so--but you can' t expect it to be as good as your car's speedometer. I recommend trying it; it's free so you have nothing to lose but a few minutes of your time. You also need to be in an are with a good GPS signal I would guess.
