Speech for search or text not working

I'm using a droidx with miui rom 2012.4.5 if that's rite OK I paid for jelly bean keyboard but speech not working I've not had it since I flashed to miui I've tried everything to get it to work on all my keyboards but no luck it has a line threw the microphone so what am I doing wrong please help
