I just tried it with iheartradio. It sounds pretty loud & clear to me, and I doubt that I'd ever want it any louder. That said, it won't ever compete with a $1K car stereo system, and it's not designed to do so. I don't claim to have "golden ears" like some audio fanatics, but as I said, it sounds pretty good. But, your mileage may vary. ;-)

Besides, if you've really just GOT to have ear-splitting volume, get yourself some Bose, noise-cancelling headphones.
