the SPC code for my droid is not 000000.

is there a way to retrieve a SPC somehow? Ive seen Seem programs, reading the nvm with bitpim and i have dont know where to go next. if anyone has done it before im sure i could figure it out.

what have people done in the past?? can someone please help?

No idea buddy, but maybe if you do a factory reset it may fix it. Installing a custom rom will definitely reset the code.

ok so i need to install a custom rom, great i assume the links to these are in the forum somewhere?? is there a specific one i should look for?

i def appreciate your response, brando.

droid does...um thanks?

If you're not rooted, you can take it to a Verizon corporate store and they can hook it up and read the SPC code.

oh great, maybe i will go right now then...thanks!

just tell them i need to know the SPC?? any specific reason, will they ask? is it illegal?

Its not illegal. Tell them tech couldn't figure it out. They shouldn't really ask though.

lol, still a lil sketchy, shouold i make up a scenario to tell them?? such as i was talking with tech support and they couldnt figure out the spc code for this phone? whats the story im giving them..

the phone is not rooted(as far as i know) there is a superuser app on it? does thatmean its rooted? and i intend on flashing over the phone to cricket.

thanks again droid does.

Superuser = root = no warranty. Hmm...I'm sure you can think of a scenario ;)

ok went to verizon store, they said if the SPC is not 000000 they cannot read it, as its ALWAYS 000000. so is there any other way to get this??

Hmmm . . . in the other thread you started with this same problem you said you would share some knowledge. Would you care to follow through here as you said you would and let us know how you got it?
