Sound recorder in kangerade

I am having an issue with the sound recorder in kangerade. It shows up in settings>manage applications as an installed application, but it doesn't show up in the app drawer. Anyone else have this problem or know of a fix?

hmm...had same problem with v.7 and v8 roms...i found a fix on other site and gave jrummy the link so that he was aware that soundrecorder.apk was missing in his roms...anyways, i installed the same apk used in 2.1-1 rom on kang 1.1 with no problem, now sound recorder works and shows up in app drawer...

i just installed apk with root explorer, never deleted system/app/SoundRecorder.apk first..just overwrite it!!

I downloaded and installed from the link you posted. It worked like a charm. Thanks so much for your help. Wonder why it didn't work in the first place. Oh well it works now.
