Sound on Bootanimation

Sorrows

Member
I was wondering if it was possible to get sound on the Droid's boot animation. So far it hasn't worked for me when I try it. I use the Android SDK and the CMD promt, and something I read said the command code was suppose to go like this

adb push bootanimation.zip

adb push android_audio.mp3

Does anyone know for sure if it's even achievable on the Droid?

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it very much.

Thanks

Don't know if this helps or if you already knew this, but just in case...I'd read somewhere that the stock "Drooooid" when it boots is actually the SD card being mounted and that you can turn that notification on or off in the settings. So maybe you're doing the coding right, but if you've got that notification turned off, maybe thta's why you're not hearing it?

Just a dumb guess, I guess, lol...

Where is this located in the settings? I've been looking all over
If you are rooted with froyo, it doesn't have the option to turn it on OR off. If you are running 2.1, just go to your settings, and tap "sd card notifications" But that has nothing to do with sound on "boot"...
