I found that my OG Droid sounded better until I found this nugget buried in settings.

Click Settings, Sound, Media Audio Effects, Phone Speak, Equalizer, Choose Extreme Bass.

Now your phone sounds like the best phone there is!

Is this for both the earpiece and the external speaker, or the external speaker only? I know some people have complained about earpiece tinniness...
