Sound during call?

My volume during a call seems to be abnormally loud on my Eris. Since I don't know anyone else who has one, I really don't have anything to compare it to. Does anyone else seem to think theirs is REALLY LOUD????

Yes....I've turned the volume down during a call

Does NOBODY else think this phone is REALLY loud? Maybe I need to take it back???

I thought it was a bit loud, but the volume adjusting took care of that issue

I hit the volume down as low as it will go and you can STILL hear the person I'm talking to clear across the room.
