hey guys, i currently have a blackberry curve 8330 running 5.0 os. i love it, but the droid is going to be my next phone:biggrin:

just wanted to introduce myself to this awesome community and i can't wait to get my hands on the DROID!:D
 
Welcome to not only the Slew of people changing from BB to Android, but welcome as another floridian, as there are quite a few hanging around.
 
nice! i have seen that there are quite a few floridians in here. and yes there are definately a lot of BB users changing, while BB's are awesome phones many of us want something new and very customizable. and the droid will provide that :)

I'm ready to get rid of my Storm 9530 as well. OS 5.0 was a huge disappointment for me. THe official Verizon release doesn't even support clicking a link in emails! For being THE email device, that is a huge FAIL.

this about sums it up.... if a battery pull doesnt fix it you need to reinstall the OS... what a crapshoot

Or install some crappy leak. BB really had a great thing going, they just thought they could keep going with the same crap forever...
