Something official should come today

Did you just say go back to froyo? Once you go gb You don't go back! You try, but gb is like crack, you put it down yet You yearn for more. Right now the most stable gb I found is bugless gpa16 it lags but stable and You don't lose data. Go back to froyo, you're funny

I went back to froyo after using gb roms for a long time and it has been like a breath of fresh air. No memory issues, better battery life, much less lag. I have just come to realize gb truly was not meant to be run on my phone.

To be or not to be........................wait what was the question? This signature has been Tapatalk approved.

I still have my d1 but its run down. After using the thunderbolt with gb. I can't even think of using my d1. I want the bionic so bad

Droid-Life has a screenshot of something saying August 4th, but I don't know if it is legit. It does look similar to earlier pictures they had of Xoom documents.

Confirmed: XOOM 4G LTE Upgrade Available in September, Emails to Customers Rolling Out Today (Updated) - Droid Life: A Droid Community Blog

I will take the Twitpic and hope! It looks good to me and lines up with what everyone who's been cheering for August thought the schedule would look like!

Also, to everyone saying "there haven't been any commercials, or flyers for advertising, thus it's not coming soon," I ask you to consider this: it may not come August 4th (although one can hope) but honestly the lack of advertising leads to NO indications pointing one way or another.

Our little forum community makes up a very small percentage of people actively waiting for THIS phone. The majority of the populous just walks into a store and looks at the phones on the shelves and picks one that looks sleek and svelte that will meet their needs. Verizon wont start advertising this thing till the day before or day of (hell maybe after) because the majority of people out there are the type to see something on TV and say "oh yeah, I need a new phone" and go to Verizon and buy it. They don't want to see a commercial with a "coming soon" label on it. The TB had advertising hyping it up because it was the FIRST LTE device on Verizon. Thus they could create a hype-beast around it. This is just another (obviously it's more to us) LTE device to cram in the lineup as far as the general populous is concerned.

Nowadays, people want to see a commercial and be able to go buy it. So relax on the lack of advertising front to support arguments against release dates. It doesn't make sense from a corporate standpoint to make these commercials and release them a couple weeks ahead of time. The hype of "coming soon" commercial would pretty much cater to the small percentage of us on these forums who go into the store knowing internal specs, OS versions, etc.

My thoughts and personal beliefs. Take them as you will.

I gotta say, that does look like previous shots from Verizon's Internal message system! I'm just wondering why Droid-life or other android sites haven't put this up on their sites yet.

With all this back and forth Motorola may have to change the name from Bionic to the Motorola Bi-Polar...

The twitpic is from Droid-Life if that means anything. They are trying to get some sort of confirmation that it is legit.

Kellex finally posted it on Droid-Life. I'm still hoping for August 4th but I just don't think that's when it's going to hit.

As much as I'd really love for this to be legit, the letter has sucky grammar. Would Verizon really mess up its/it's?

lets hope it lives up to our hopes better than duke nukem

I think Moto should just announce that they are bundling Duke Nukem Forever Mobile Edition along with the phone. Then everybody will realize these things take time.

The longer they wait to release the bionic the greater our expectations and if they release the bionic with only a 1 ghz processor instead of a 1.2 or 1.5 and only add things like gingerbread and laptop dock. then we will be highly disapointed as were we with duke nukem forever. If they do not give us some good usefull stuff, Ill hold out for the Galaxy S2, Tired of the waiting. I am suppose to be hearing from my local verizon rep after he gets out of a meeting, ill post when I know more.
