I could def go for this, especially if they would overnight ship that bad boy to me. Honestly dont even know what to think or feel ab this anymore. Went from excited and feeling like I had a good idea of what/when were were getting it, to almost feeling like this phone is like BigFoot

I agree, I'm growing less excited the closer August gets and nothing official besides "coming this summer", wow really verizon first you say Q2 and nothing comes, now you expect me to get excited about "coming this summer"...

The closer we get to no August 4th with no announcement, the closer I'm getting to pulling the trigger on the Droid3 BOGO.
 
Wow in reading the comments from the other readers we're not the only upset ones. Moto better take notice, that or this phone has the capability to make you walk on water, that's why the delay.

I think Moto should just announce that they are bundling Duke Nukem Forever Mobile Edition along with the phone. Then everybody will realize these things take time.
 
I can't suffer the lag on my D1 much longer. I won't pay for turn by turn directions so iPhone is out. I might have to give up on Motorola!
 
I agree I think a little more specific communiction to all the loyal waiters out there would go a long way instead of taking the chance and having people jump to other phones they probably won't be as pleased with... is the sg2 closely comparable to the bionic? I really need this thing to come I'm limping into the finish line with this D1 lol

Mapquest is free on the iPhone, and does voice-directed turn by turn directions. My wife uses it on her iPhone 4.
 
Been lurking for awhile but decided to chime in...

I read the latest article posted and read all the comments. One guy posted a mediacenter@motorola.com email address and said they sent off a nasty gram. I did the same. My D1 is getting sooo slow, I need something new. I miss calls because the phone takes too long to show me the correct screen....

Are u rooted? Running gb? The d1 wasn't ment to run gb try going a froyo ROM

Did you just say go back to froyo? Once you go gb You don't go back! You try, but gb is like crack, you put it down yet You yearn for more. Right now the most stable gb I found is bugless gpa16 it lags but stable and You don't lose data. Go back to froyo, you're funny
