Soft input lights won't turn off?

Hey guys. Just got my D2, rooted it, took out a bunch of the bloatware. Works great, except for charging issues and one other thing.

Even when I put the phone to sleep, the backlights behind the soft input keys won't turn off. They sometimes flicker and dim, but they just won't shut off completely.

Anybody else having this problem?

Whenever mine wont turn on I do what I used to do on my D1

I have adw launcher so I have the widget power control, I put it on a screen and cycle through to auoto mode on the brightness button (right most button). That fixes it for me. Its only done it once on my D2

I started noticing this issue yesterday. Would be interested in getting my hands on a fix rather than a work around.....

Haven't seen this at all. Reboot and factory reset are two things to try.

Maybe you removed too much...backup your current setup, and restore the backup you did before deleting things and see if it persists...

Bump? Really? Nobody else is having this problem?

Im having the same problem on my galaxy s2 lte. The phone clearly never shuts down completely, softkey lights always stay on.
The only way to turn it off is to pull the battery out.

The phone is rooted, but for more than a year this never occured.

You should cut its connections from wire.
