Keeping your refresh settings off or on never should conserve battery, correct?

Is the battery conservation from turning off the refresh settings just as good as logging out (ie logging out of twitter/facebook)??

Sent from my MB860 using DroidForums

This is supposedly true...although I read my Twitter and FB often throughout the day so I keep those settings ON and set to a 15 minute refresh.

So it all comes down to how much you actually use the service and if your battery life is worth it to you. Run a test and let us know how it goes! ;)

i turn off any refresh.

I check it enough, no need to waste more battery and refresh it :P

Yea, I keep the refresh off for these... I figure if I want to check the status I'll load the apps themselves, that's what their there for and it loads quick anyways.

I use Flow for Facebook and it works alot like the Blackberry FB app that I had on my Curve many moons ago. Notifications actually work. I use Plume Premium for Twitter.
