So now my droid shuts off every time..

It turns off every time I plug it in to charge it. One day the plug just became lose and I had to bend the metal inside the droid with a needle to fit and hold properly. I guess I have to send it in and be phoneless for how every many days *sigh* Happy Monday

Actually if you do a warranty replacement with Verizon they ship you a replacement phone and when you receive the replacement you send your broken one back to them.

They wouldn't leave you without a phone like that.

Hopefully the new phone fixes your issue.

Unroot first, unless you don't care about voiding your warranty
