Snapchat Spectacles have been some of the most oddly popular gadgets in a while. Every time a new kiosk is placed in a new location it instantly sells out of spectacles. People have waited in lines for hours and hours just to be turned away. The latest kiosk has turned up at 5 East 59th Street in New York City. The kiosk will remain in this new location through New Years Eve. The glasses with cameras built in will run you $130. For now you will have to either travel across the the nation to grab a pair of these or pick up a HAWKED edtion on Ebay.

Just goes to show that hype will sell any piece of junk. I have to give them the tip of the hat though.

Create the illusion of high demand by low supply from only sending out a few bots and creating lines to generate even more hype for a sub-par product.
