SMS Delivery status? Can this be checked?

Is there anywhere you can check the delivery status of a message and if it went through successfully?

I am using handcent SMS but don't see that as an option, but if you can do this through the regular messaging interface that would be fine as well.

In the hancent choose menu and there is a delivery report you can view. I'm not 100% familiar with it but I think this may be what you are looking for.
