Smartphones: Our National Obsession (CNN)

title pretty much describes me. what can i say though :)

with technology becoming smaller and smaller, its no wonder that the phones are the ones being changed constantly. And the markets there for consumers to buy a new one every year or so.

and the fact that angry birds is now on android makes this phone really hard to put down lol

Word that, Abe.

Just think -- the Apple Newton started this how many years ago? And here we are, replacing our landlines, a staple of every household for how many decades?, our little black books, our address books, digital cameras, portable radios, etc, all with a small (but EXPENSIVE) gadget.

Not that it's been all good, mind you. ;)

its pretty sad how dependant we are getting on wireless devices.

you know its bad when you think you feel your cellphone vibrate in your pocket when its not even there.
