Smart Dial?

Does the Droid 3 have "smart dial" like HTC?

You search through your contacts by using the T9 keyboard.

I wasn't sure, which is why I asked. I've only had one Android, and it has Sense. I've never used any Blur devices. I know that the Smart Dial on my phone is designed by HTC.
