Slow Home Screen Loading

Most of the time when I am in an app such as the browser or even the app drawer its self I press the "home" button to take me to the home screen and some times it takes up to 5 seconds for my Widgets and apps on the home screen to show up. Any ideas why?

Depending on how many programs are running on your phone, the launcher may have been removed from memory and the delay is from it reloading.

I'm constantly killing apps and i "restart" the core apps by using Fast Reboot. It seems the fast reboot does the trick.
