Slow 4G?

Ok so I got my thunderbolt today and my 4G isn't as quick as I thought it would be. I get around 3 mbps download and not higher. Does anybody else that live in Denver have better speeds on 4G? Is it just a not so great coverage area?

Wow I tried setting a different server location in sweetest farther away and I got much higher speeds. Weird :s

I am still experiencing much slower 4g speeds since the outage in Minneapolis. I've tried multiple servers, and still can't seem to break 2-3mbps up or download. When I switched to WiFi, I was getting 8-9mbps thanks to my home network.
