Sliding/unlock tone

Does anyone know how to make the sliding unlock tone silent without vibrate?

From the home screen, press MENU > SETTINGS > SOUND, scroll down and uncheck 'Screen lock sounds'

Oh, sorry, I misunderstood Not sure how to only disable vibrate for screen unlock

You can't disable the vibrate without physically disabling the impeller that causes the vibration. Silent means without sound, btw, not without vibration, hence the confusion.

Perhaps I'm missing something but neither my wifes DX nor my DX2 vibrate our male a sound unlocking?

My DRIOD 2 Global does, when you slide across the touch screen to unlock it, it vibrates and makes a sound.
