I like the increased song selection of Slacker but find the Pandora sound quality much better. Slacker's bass seems to 'bottom out' for lack of a better description; almost like a thud instead of a thump. I'm talking while listening through headphones or the headphone jack out direct to my car stereo.

What are other's folks take on the two music services?

Yep. Slacker has very flat base, and seems to buffer more. However I like the interface much better, and the ability to listen to a particular genre, rather than listen by artist is a plus for me. When I create a station by artist in Pandora it seems like every 5 or 6 songs are from that artist. Slacker gives me a better variety of artists, while still staying within the bounderies I choose.

but Pandora does sound better.
