Sirius XM fix (I think for any gingerbread version)

I couldn't get sirius to work on my phone when I upgraded to LGB (My wife's droid x also stopped playing sirius after the stock GB update) . I found this fix that may fix other issues and maybe it can be added to the rom. Not sure how it fixes it, but by replacing the hosts file sirius works again and doesn't get stuck at loading a channel.

Download hosts file to sdcard here http://bit.ly/hkCaqb

Run this command in terminal emulator.
Code:
su
busybox mount -o remount,rw /system
busybox cp /sdcard/hosts /system/etc/
Special thanks to this thread for giving me the idea to try this. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/team-d1-miui/119749-sirius-xm-miui-problem-2.html

anyone else try this and confirm it works? i have the same problem with it gettin stuck.. i'm going to give this a whirl.

It worked when I had LGB 06 and the problem came back after installing 07. I just did it again and it worked on 07. It takes a few seconds for the Sirius channel to load, but not sure if that is how it is for anyone.
