Since ICS update, youtube contacts keep showing up with my "real" contacts

every since i updated to ice cream sandwich i cant seem to stop my youtube contacts from showing up in my contacts. i change the display options and it lasts maybe a half hour until they suddenly reappear. its so annoying. anyone else see this happening or know how to fix it?
