DroidX running the VZW OTA Gingerbread update. What is the simplest most reliable way to get root access?

1. SBF back to Froyo.
2. Root
3. Install Prerooted GB

If you are on the OTA GB you cannot root without going back to Froyo. You want to follow Method 2 in this post: http://www.mydroidworld.com/forums/...-5-596-release-thread-something-everyone.html

Thanks. I have the DX bootstrapper installed and apparently I need the one made for the D2. Anyone have a link to it?
