Question about new update and z4 root?

I rooted a few weeks ago using z4 root and I haven't gotten the new update yet. I have learned the hard way not to except the updates if I want to keep root. So I was wondering what the easiest way to get the update or not keep getting the ota notification and keep my root is?
I don't do any roms , just like to keep it simple. But if installing a certain rom will fix me up then i am up for it.

You'll need to unroot and search manually for the update (if it doesn't automatically prompt you for it within say an hour) and then re-root. I think I saw a post that the new build worked with z4root though.
