Signal not allowing market access? iphone is no issue though?

In my building at work I am unable to access the market place via 3g, 4g etc.
My Buddy who has a iphone on VZN can access their market w/o any issues wth is going on with this Phone Arrrrghhhhh am I doing something wrong? Thanks

2.3.4 moto and vzw is working on the software issue and coming out with new update in the next couple of weeks and could be ice cream sandwich update
