signal booster for droid?

hey guys i have a verizon droid x and i live in a very rural area and have very poor service for pda net and phone calls. ive been looking into a signal booster but haven't really heard anything good from anyone using one in a rural area. any suggestions?

One of my friends who lives up in the mountains uses a Verizon signal booster and it works. Before we used to get 1x or 1bar of 3g up there(depending where you were) and after the signal booster we actually get 4g in the good spots.

They aren't cheap, Verizon should give them away, great way to boost signals in poor reception areas

You also have to hook them up to your home wifi. If you don't have wifi at home, then you're out of luck unfortunately.
