Should the SIM card be white? (mine looks dirty)

I just took my SIM card out for the first time... I could have sworn it was really bright white when I put it in the phone (day after it was released) but now it just looks dirty and gray on the side that faces up. Is that normal? I'm wondering if I got a bad card or something.

lol if the phone doesn't give you a sim card error when you turn it on, then it's not a bad card.

if your phone works right then there is nothing wrong with the sim card. besides you can't even see it

Thats the problem... i have one of the duds with signal issues and am trying to find a fix before my return date. Was thinking maybe i had a bad card.
