Shirley you cannot be serious.

My sister is named Shirley

I've had zero problems sending pics w/ Handcent. Listening to the sounds of a nun singing Michael, Row the Boat Ashore!:icon_ banana:

Shirlies...

I've tried Handcent, Chomp, and the stock messenger. Either takes around 30 mins to send or it wont send at all.
Did you try sending over WiFi to see if that makes a difference? I've never had a problem on sending pictures at all whether it is to a phone or an email.

EDIT: I used both the stock app, and Handcent which is my preferred text sending app.

I'm using Handcent as my default.

It works...then it doesn't...

1. Sent a pic to my friend. She said she got it but her phone said "Content unsupported"

2. Sent a pic to my email. Worked within 25 seconds.

3. Sent a pic to my mom's cell. Took a couple minutes but worked.

4. Retried sending one to my friend, didn't go through.

5. Retried #4. Worked in about 45 seconds. .

All with full 3G bars.

Oiy, I don't know. I'm gunna talk to my Verizon tech friend, see what he has to say.

I didn't think the droid uses wifi to use MMS? When mine is on wifi, it switches to 3G momentarily to send the pic, then goes back to wifi.

Wow, thanks for that info. I did not know ever notice that before and so I just sent a pic to someone and sure enough the 3G icon popped on. I just assumed it would send it by wifi since it is connected to my network.
